In room 10 we drew awesome planes.

On the side of the plane  we have, lift-air pressure,drag,gravity-pulling you down,thrust.
 Lift and thrust,drag and gravity.
These are 4 principals of flight.

Our special Matariki day

Matariki is all About Seven sisters they are the bights stars. Matariki is in the winter. Last term in middle syndicate we had a hangi for to celebrate Matariki.It taste so yummy that it make me eat more.

Before we eat we made a flower by using flax room 9 and 10 is doing the flower. Room 7 and 8 is doing the art so we swapped rooms. I love doing the flax. Before that day we brought the veges for the hangi. We peeled the veges and we brought the plate. Mr. Williamson cook the veges and meat. It is sometimes cooked in the ground but he cooked it in his hangi steamer. It smelled soo yummy and it was delicious too. 

Geometry learning

 In room 10 we are learning geometry we have seen lots of new shapes that we don't know like decogon - a shape with 10 sides a  Heptagon has 7 sides and a nonogon has 9 sides..We have lots of fun and we learned parallel and perpendicular.

Making my mask

In room 10 we have been making masks.We put our hands in the glue it was fun. I made  Bell from Beauty and the Beast because in our class we have to do a book character. My one have brown hair and my one has a flower.  What do you think of my mask?

I wish a fish

 I wish I had a  fish on a dish

I would  eat the fish from the dish.

How to make sugar crystal lollies

How to Make Sugar Crystals
Ingredients:
1 cup of hot water
3 cups of sugar

Method:
1. get a pot.
2. put the ingredients in the pot.
3.put the pot on the stove and mix it well so sugar dissolves
to saturated solution.
4. Pour mixture in a clean jar.
5. Tie some to an ice block 
stick or skewer.
6. make sure the string does not touch the bottom
7.wait to see what happens.
